Fail your way to Success
On Sunday after going to lunch with my partner and her parents, we went over to watch a special at her parents from 20/20 about WINNING - Young Millionaires, Failures before they Succeeding & Getting Rich in America that was TIVO'd . One of the parts was about a couple of people who failed, failed and failed before they finally Succeeded in their Business.
One particular person, Jake Burton story really hit home with me. He was in a snowboard business and he kept trying to sell his snowboards and nobody wanted them. He thought all he needed to do was sell them. So after practically getting himself into debt and going into depression he thought long and hard about what he needed to do and made a life changing decision. He started THINKING about Snowboarding instead of trying to sell them. That made a lot of sense to me and it made me wonder how I was pursuing my own Travel Business. I feel like I have thought more of the Travel aspect of my Business and I am taking the right route to make myself succeed...well, my partner and I together.
The second failure, she was fun, her name is Sara Blakely, who invented SPANX.
She had failed at a lot things. When she was young, she wanted to be like her father, a trial attorney and she failed the LSAT. Then, she decided to sell Fax machines to Businesses and completely failed at it. But she was taught when she was growing up that if she wasn't failing, then she wasn't trying. Another thing, about her interview that I enjoyed and had never considered while I fail at my own ventures is, that Failure is a way of letting life let you know you're off course. That also hit me hard.
I always thought I was doing something wrong or not doing enough of something. Every Business I have done I have learned something from, so maybe I am just setting myself up for Success. And Succeeding does just take time, patience and persistence and then it will happen. :)

New Blog Makeover
In the next couple of weeks I will be moving my Blog to Wordpress and will be changing to a cut line template.
I think I write a pretty decent Blog and would like more Exposure, so before I get more exposure to my Blog, I would like to give it a makeover. With all the great tips in the Blogging World, I would like to maximize my Blog and use it to its fullest potential.
I am still working on my Travel Blog slowly.
Anyway, so keep a lookout for the new layout and style. ;)

Chris Jacobson, from Money Making Scoop had tagged me to answer some questions about Making Money Online and well, here they are:
1. How long have you been Blogging?
Hmm, well, my earliest Blog, was way before it had been called a 'Blog' with what was then called an online journal, back in 2000? My more 'Official' blog began in 2005, when I had been doing GPT's (Get Paid to's) a more personal one began in 2004 on Blogger.
2. What inspired you to start a blog and who are your mentors?
What inspired me to start a Blog, is being able to express myself. Although after learning the true power of a Blog and my passion for Home Business, I had began doing Business Blogs for my Network Marketing company I had been with.
3. Are you trying to make money online, or are you just doing it for fun?
Hmm, yes I am. I mostly do all of my Business off line via telephone, but I do gain Leads online through my Lead capture page and I am looking to build a more passive income online with my Travel Booking site.
4. Tell me 3 things you LOVE being Online?
The ABILITY to Make Money Online.
The ABILITY to Express ones self.

Working with Leads
Whether self-generated or purchased there are always some things you need to keep in mind to get the most out of your Leads:
1) Contact your Leads AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Because if you do not, in time they can lose interest, sign-up with someone else or change their mind.
2) DO NOT sell them on the first phone call! The first phone call to your lead is about building rapport, getting to know them and seeing if this is something that they could do or want to do. Once you gain interest you will schedule an appointment to do the Presentation.
3) After you have done the Presentation with the prospect, they will need time to think about it. You will then need to follow up in a couple of days and close.
4) Once you close, Welcome your new Team Member and then send them the necessary information to get started immediately! :)
The key to Success is Consistency and in the Follow-up. :)

Successful Blog?
Well to further my studies on how to have a Successful Blog and how and what techniques I would like to implement in doing so...I came across an interesting and paid courses to take to become a Successful Blogger.
The first one is called SixFigureBlogging.com - It is a Self-Study Course that will show you how to make money with your Blog. The Course is $325.00. Not that bad for all the information it looks like you will be getting. Of course, like it says it is an Investment and you will need to work. I found this on Problogger.net. I must admit, I am interested in the course but...I will get into detail on that in a minute.
The next item, I discovered on Entrepreneurs-journey.com, is actually his own Mastermind Group for Blogging. Its a service, $77 a month and this Pro will show you what it takes to make money Blogging. I am also interested in this also, but like I said I will get into it in a minute as is to why I will not be signing up at this time. The website, BTW is BlogMastermind.com

The reason why I won't be joining and as great as they both look and how much I want to just go for it, there is plenty of FREE information right now on the internet on how to be a Successful Blogger and I want to soak up all that information and implement it before I take it a step further. My goal yes, is to get travel bookings from my Travel Blog but at the same time, I know that will take time and so in the mean time I need to find other ways to make money booking Travel and also building my Team.
Although, if anyone is interested, check them out...I would do them!

Business....Finally (Cross Post MySpace)
Well tonight we printed off some Business cards for the Travel Business and I printed off a few also for my Jerky Business.
Then I decided to place an Ad in the paper, which will be coming out next week.
I admit, and I hate to admit it...but I think I am just scared to death of Succeeding. Sometimes I think is this really all I want for myself? Its REALLY NOT. I read it a lot from other Business owners and articles and such online but you need to take your mind set out of the "Consumer" and put it into the "Merchant" type mind set, or you will be forever waiting on that paycheck every week WISHING you were doing what you WANT be doing. I must have read almost every peice of self-help, marketing, business book on the Subject of being a Business owner. I KNOW what it takes. All these years with multiple businesses and some doing well and others not, I know I can do this full time. Yet, I always hold back.
Whenever I try not to think about it and I watch movies, I still get the same message..."Go after your Dreams" . On Thursday night I watched "Baby Boom" , I love that movie. An 80's movie. Anyway its about a Corporate Yuppie (woman) who inherits her deceased cousin's daughter and it turns her whole world upside and then the Corporate world shuns her because she is no longer the hard baller that she used to be...and in the Corporate world, may I remind you, your ONLY importance is to make sure that the Company makes money....not your Family, not your time, etc...anyway so she decides to quit after her understudy gets her position and moves to the country with the baby (named Elizabeth BTW ) and soon runs low on the money and decides to make gourmet baby food with the millions of fruit that she has on her acres...well at first, everyone tells her no...being any kind of Business or Sales person, we all love hearing the NO word ...well, finally people start seeing how great this baby food is, everyone buys it and she soon needs employees and opens up a factory and she hits the newspapers etc...yada yada....ANYWAY the same company who shunned her wants to BUY her out LOL! ...Of course they don't....but the point is...she followed her dreams and made it happen, when everyone else told her NO...again love the word : P
Then we watch Last Holiday, that was a cute movie too....A chick finds out she is dying and decides what the hell and quits her crappy job and pursues everything in her life she has always wanted to pursue. Of course in the end they say she isn't going to die after all...but that is beside the point.
Yes, they are only movies but #1, they provide good messages regarding life and #2, there are real life scenarios like it.
Tips: 1) Never listen to the naysayers in your life 2) Follow your Dreams

Domain Hell
Well I had a business domain, that I forgot had expired. So then, I decide to transfer it to my favorite domain site. Yahoo! But because I forgot the domain had already expired I had contacted Yahoo! and they said that Register.com owns the domain till 2008, so I cancel the domain order for Yahoo! and wait till I have time to renew the domain again through Register.com.
Well today, I go to renew the domain and someone had already purchased it. Which you have no idea how this screws me up because it was my host domain and my host domain has been down since the domain expired. So now I no longer have that domain and I am fine with it as I do own 8 other domains that I currently use. My old Host DayanaHost.com, is expiring in March 2008 so I am just going to go ahead and NOT renew. I already have a new Host that lets me have unlimited of addons, subdomains, etc...and I will be setting up my Projects with my domains so I can have those sites up. One of my Projects is a training site for my Team, it will be a generic training site because I am in more than one business, a website for those interested in working from home (non-business related per se), my own personal site, plus I maybe moving my Blog to WordPress.
I have MANY sites. I LOVE my sites. I would like to build more, eventually I would like one more Professional made, because well I am a simple HTML girl and I like using templates with simple HTML when I build my sites. But at the moment, I am happy with what I build and if I would like to build my Web Design skill I can always do that as well.
TIP: Make sure to renew your domain as soon as it expires. Also if you have domains that you are not using at the moment but do not want to let them go, park them and you can get paid. Sedo.com is a good place to do this.

Popular Things right now
Decided to Blog about some things going on in the News and Media right now. I do have some Topics I do want to share either as a Blog Post or Article but after having to work a hectic Schedule last week at work I thought I would just discuss a little lightly right now.

3) BLOGGING - Blogging is getting very BIG and very Popular, especially since the Explosion of Web 2.0 or also known as Social Media. One of the best new ways to get Traffic, Visitors and Sales. Also BlogRush.com, which has shunned millions of Blogs, for no real reason, normally for keeping Spam Blogs.
4) CELEBRITY GOSSIP - Britney Spears is a #1 Story right now. I make sure I check TheSupercial.com everyday for latest celebrity news.
5) GOOGLE - Making most Internet Marketers fear their Google Ranking with the recent change of how Google will be doing their Page Rank.

Considering Biz Blog Overhaul
I am going to use my Biz Blog as an experiment also to make a great Successful Blog. I am making a mental list of all the things a Successful Blogger will need for my upcoming Successful Blogger series, and there is a lot.
Also for my Travel Blog, I had wanted to do a more focused approach to get traffic and Travel Booking Sales. I already write articles but they are not for the travel booking link. But I do have somewhat of a plan set aside for my Travel Blog.

Well this last week I had been focusing on Article Marketing and Blogging. I am using this Blog as a way to figure out new services to implement to Promote my Travel Blog. Although I have not been Updating my Travel Blog frequently as of yet I have been looking at various ways it can be Promoted.
I also noticed all the SUCCESSFUL Blogs share the same format. Which I am still trying to figure out what that is. Its very interesting. Most of them are hosted also on WordPress. I do have a WordPress Blog, and I am using for my Travel Blog.

Tips for Choosing a Dot Com
*Make sure your domain name is unique. You can only have so many 'Work From Home' title domains. In being unique, make sure that the domain name makes sense and represents what kind of business you are in.
*Make sure you actually use dot COM. People are more likely to remember a .COM Domain than .INFO, .NET etc...Especially keep in mind, when they see your domain one time from an Advertisement and try to remember it later, they will more likely to type in .com in the search bar than any other extension.
*Make sure it is memorable. I have a domain titled DirtPoorNoMore.com, it captures people's attention and wonders what you are promoting.
*Use your own Name in the title. I have PLENTY of .Coms with my name in the title, it just makes it easier in making up a name and making it my own. Some Examples: JackiesFamousJerky.com, JackiesGPT.com, JackiesCruiseTips.com, JackiesTravelDeals.com. It really flows, but of course it also depends on your own name.

MyBlogLog & Social Media
I had just signed up for it tonight and I am so HAPPY I did! :) I had been meaning to get more involved in Social Media & Social Networking Online. Well, MyBlogLog has all the Social Media networks all available in one place. I had added this Blog specifically and also linked all my other Social Networking sites with MyBlogLog and will be adding more Social Media sites as I go.

Office Space
I love that movie. It mocks everything I hate about working for someone else.
My FAVORITE Quote from the Movie is from Peter, the main character, when he says "We weren't meant to spend it this way. Human beings were not meant to sit in little cubicles staring at computer screens all day, filling out useless forms and listening to eight different bosses drone on about about mission statements."
AND ITS SO TRUE! Hey, though, if you Love your Job...Kudos to you. But for me and others, the time is NOW to escape the Rat Race. Keep in mind though, when you decide to make this move, that it will take hard work and consistency.

I was watching Office Space this weekend and about all the cliches of working for someone else such as Commuting to work, stupid Office Politics, having to go to work when you don't want to, changing desks, mandatory overtime, etc...ANYWAY
One of the questions that was asked is...What would you do if you had a Million Dollars? The main character Peter had asked his fellow co-workers that question because they said that if whatever you chose to do is what you are supposed to do with your Life.
If I had a Million Dollars I would own Multiple Businesses including Brick & Mortar, pursue my Dream of Singing (but privately) and kind of follow the trends of most Millionaires, like building my own Empire. I guess I would still be doing what I am doing now. I am also interested in Fashion Design. I had been interested in that as a teen also. I just like alot of things. I want to Invest, take care of Family, Donate, etc...

Why do some People Struggle in Business?
And others fly right through it...it boggles the mind. I sometimes I find myself struggling and I hate it. I don't think I am the 'struggling' type and I feel I have enough knowledge in my Brain to build an Empire but I am learning and slowly picking up speed.
I think its hard for some and easy for others because some have more confidence, some have already been in similar situations liked worked in Sales or had other Businesses like Brick and Mortar type Businesses such as Restaurants, Mortgage Firms, etc...
A lot of people say it just takes time really. I believe that but having doing this or attempting to do it for 7 years (since I was 18 years old but with some personal life happenings in between) I would think that my time should already be here. And it will come soon.

Little Checks
I love getting Checks, its so unexpected when I do get them though. I usually get them from JD Premium Products and MLMPowerMarketing. But today I got one surprisingly from a new Affiliate SFI. Which is a company I don't actively Promote right now. I just have it for reference and because I like the way their site is set up.

Writing an eBook to Promote your Business
Today I came across a Post on someone who had Promoted their Business by Giving away a Free eBook. I was Intrigued. I see a lot more Network Marketers doing it in order build their Team for their Business.
See the concept of the eBook is to give good information to future or possible Prospects. They are satisfied with your information, so they want to learn more about YOU and when they do they discover your Business and think, hey I like this person, I like the information they have provided me and hey I am interested in their Business and sometimes join. If they decide not join you are still building your list. :)
I plan to write an eBook, not clear what to write about but I will work towards it.

Worked on my Business
At first, I was too tired to...but then I took a Power Nap and a Shower and DID IT! You have to be CONSISTENT and I am not going to Stop but keep going! I cannot wait to see the Results! I REALLY want to be FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT AND I WILL BE FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT!!!

How to put in Long Hours for a Business Start-up
I work full-time out of the home. I hate it. So I am doing my best to do as much as I can on my Business away from work. I get up around 8 am and sleep around 1 am. I also work 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. I have daily chores and things I need to do before work and after work plus I need to squeeze in things I need to do for my Business. Its not easy.
But you also have to be Consistent in your Business and make sure your Job and Home Life are also taken care of. The problem with this is Exhaustion from Work, Home Life and Trying to run a Home based Business from Home. So I had compiled a list of things to do to stay on task for your Business:
POWER NAP which is basically taking a 15-20 minute nap during the day or at night, depending on your schedule to revitalize and work on your Business.
SHOWER A hot shower is very refreshing and will give you some energy that you need to finish up Projects.
DRINK COFFEE nothing like drinking Coffee at night. It doesn't have to be a lot, maybe a cup or two to help you re-energize on your Business Projects.
ENERGY DRINK I am not big on those, but they can give you a quick jolt when you need it.
FOCUS on why you need to work on your Business.
Remember to not overdue it and cause a burn-out working on your Business. Remember this is your way to Financial Independence!

Different Types of Marketing
I LOVE MARKETING! I have always enjoyed Marketing and that is why I think it is Important that I learn everything about Marketing that there is. I actually plan on going to school and get my Bachelors in Marketing and Sales. But there are many types of Marketing and the ones I am greatly aware of are:
MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING/NETWORK MARKETING is described as recruiting people in your down line and make commissions off their sales and down line. Some levels go as many as 7 Levels down in Commissions. Most Network Companies offer Auto Ship for their Products or Services in order to give an 'Residual Commission' for their Members.
INTERNET MARKETING is using the Internet to Market Products or Services. Some examples include Search Engine Marketing, Pay Per Click, Email Marketing and Affiliate Marketing.
AFFILIATE MARKETING is a way to promote Internet Businesses through using another Affiliate and pay them commission based on every new sale or customer the Affiliate may bring them.
My Goal is to MASTER all of these Methods of Marketing. Marketing is a very Powerful way to do Business. Once you master Marketing, you will never have to worry about Sales again.

It took a couple of hours...I basically did Traffic Swarm and signed up for a 5 SafeLists...now I am going to try to write some Good Ads. I did not do any Writing though because well, its a lot work and I am exhausted. I have to do more writing though, I really would like to get some Travel Bookings on my Travel Site. I am trying to get the best Marketing techniques for each of the Businesses. I am Focusing on Leads for Travel Business, Travel Bookings and Sign-ups for Jerky. I am doing a lot of the Free stuff right now because I want to slowly work into this, I will be placing ad in the paper soon also. I would like to define my Marketing Goals better. For things that I need to be doing Daily.
I have also had some issues with my Jerky Domain, which is hosted on another site and that site is down at the moment because of it (Private site but part of it will be used for my Team site). So what I have to do is at least purchase a Direct Domain for the Jerky site so that people will know where to go to sign up and purchase Jerky.
I want to make all three of these things work to its FULL POTENTIAL so I can QUIT MY JOB and WORK FROM HOME and be FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT. I will do what it takes.

Back to My 30 Day Challenge
Well last night at 3 am, my normal time for brainstorming when I am not have to work and can stay up late enough to brainstorm, I decided to move forward with my 30 Day Challenge to help me stay Motivated and Consistent to make a FULL Time Income from Home.
What inspired me to do a 30 Day Challenge in the first place was Lynn Terry, and her $20k in 20 Days Challenge. Lynn of course has been working from home for many years so she is already a step ahead of myself and she is doing her own Challenge to earn even MORE Money from Home.
So what I am going to do is Blog about My 30 Day Challenge privately, not making any attempt to get Traffic to that Blog as I think it would be best if I did it on my own...I will be Posting my Blog Progress 30 Day Challenge link though on this Blog though.

1,000 $1 Bills easier than $1,000 Profit each time?
A lot of people have this notion that people are cheap. Yes, in general they are if those are the kind of people you want to attract. I know of a couple of Businesses that pay you $1 or $2 Per PERSON who enrolls in your Business Residual Income a Month! My Business personally pays me $50 per person who enrolls and about 4% Residual per month, which averages out the same. Plus we can get up to $50,000 in Bonuses when our Team gets Bigger and BIGGER.
Most of the Businesses costing $1,000 or more are Direct Sales and do not have Residuals coming in. Although some of them consist of One up or Two up sales, which means passing up one or two sales to your Up line in order to 'Qualify' for your Commissions and of course your Team Members would do the same when they join your Business. I know of some people who do really well with this kind of System.
I think it takes the same amount of work for you to earn $1,000 or 1,000 $1 Bills. I think you maybe able to automate the $1 Sales more easily though. Although I am very Surprised out how hard I have seen for someone to do a Free or Cheap Business
Basically my point is...its all in the power of your mind, what you can or cannot make. The only skill you need to make $1 or $1,000 is Marketing.

In the United States, there is a new birth every 7 seconds, one death every 13 seconds, One international migrant (net) every 27 seconds, which means a net gain of one person every 11 seconds. According to the U.S. Government Census.
There are always people being born, growing up and moving out. Always someone out there who wants to build a Business, a Successful Business. There is room for everyone in every MLM Business if they CHOOSE to!

So next time a Prospect or a MLM failure tries to tell you otherwise you make sure to inform him with the facts!

Wiki defines it as In alluding to the version-numbers that commonly designate software upgrades, the phrase "Web 2.0" hints at an improved form of the World Wide Web. Technologies such as weblogs, social bookmarking, wikis, podcasts, RSS feeds (and other forms of many-to-many publishing), social software, web application programming interfaces (APIs), and online web services such as eBay and Gmail provide a significant enhancement over read-only websites.
But there is also a growing number of Automated Business Systems for high ticket businesses such as 1st Step System or Reverse Funnel System used to attract people interested in making a big profit without having to call prospects and talk to them about your Business or Brand yourself on the Web by using Web 2.0. A lot of people call this "REMOVE the "human factor" from marketing." I disagree.
Personally I like both Systems, you can implement both of the techniques for your Online Business.
I like the Automation Business because all you need to focus on is Marketing aspect of your Business, which is great for your Direct Sales portion of your Business or smaller MLM type of Business. Like Jerky or Travel Bookings.
You want to eliminate the tire kickers and those that are not serious about joining a Business. Which gives me a new idea for my Lead Capture page that I plan on Building.

Working (Business)
Well I finally got started working on some Articles for my Travel Booking Link. I am going to have my Partner edit it since she is the writer in the family. I will be doing 2 more Blog Posts and one more article tonight. Hopefully. If not, I will try to do more tomorrow. No, you know what, I am going to make myself do it tonight before I go to bed.
I had read a Post about PostCard Marketing and this day and age, there are easier ways to do it. Like the company SendOutCards which will process and ship and all you need to do is provide the shipping addresses and payment! I might look into it in the future.
Right now I am debating whether or not I should focus on both Sales and Networking of my Travel Business. My BIG Main Focus is to get Travel Bookings=$ale$= Travel Agents= Financial Independence. At least from that perspective is the way I look at it. Although I would like to build a team in the process. Hmmmm....
I also need to look into building my Team sites for both my Travel and Jerky Business.
Still have no concrete Marketing Plan. Sigh. Hmmm I will work on that some more. I also want to get a good list of Networking Forums and other Social Media.

Top 5 Marketing Tips on the Web Today
1. Social Media is a great way to market your Business. Using Social Book Marketing such as sites like Digg or Del.icio.us, Social sites like MySpace or FaceBook etc...can bring a lot of Traffic to your website if used properly.
2. Blogging is a great way to bring short term Traffic to your Blog and/or Website. Pinging and consistently Updating your Blog daily is a good way to bring you more Traffic.
3. Forums by participating and placing your business link in your signature of your Posts will not only bring you Traffic but a following.
4. Article Marketing will bring long term traffic by placing your Business and information about you in the Resource box for visitors who are more interested in learning what you do after seeing what you write.
5. PPC or Pay Per Click can bring a lot of Targeted Traffic to your Website and/or Blog very inexpensively. Google Adwords is a good place to start.

So anything like Digg, Del.icio.us, MySpace, Squidoo, YouTube etc...can all bring Traffic to your Website and/or Blog.

The Little Blog that Could....
And I am not referring to this one neither LOL
I am working on something BIG and I am reading A lot of information about it to Promote it. I think I chose a great niche, the niche deals with a specific business I am in, I am a in a Marketing Group and feel I am on the right track.
So whats my problem? I guess my fear is that if I plug my Blog and promote, promote, promote that I will actually get Sales from it. Maybe that is my problem. Sigh.

Entrepreneur.com, aside from being a great Magazine for Aspired Business people and Entrepreneurs it also offers this free new service called Entrepreneur Assist. A Special Program for Entrepreneurs to add and build documents, spreadsheets and presentations. There is also a Planner, Library, Forms & Templates. The Program best of all is FREE to Business Owners.
Right now I am going to play with the Program and see how I can utilize for my Business. :)

Work at Jobs?
Don't want a Home based Business? Want to be just at home with your little one? It is possible. A good source for work at home job information is WAHM.com. I discovered WAHM.com some odd years ago before I became a mother and have been visiting the site ever since for guidance for WAH Job information, Business pursuits, etc...I met some wonderful people on the site also. Their WAHM Forum is a great place to go to ask questions etc...The former owner Cheryl Dumas is very wonderful and helpful.
Another place I like to go is MommyJobs.com.

Black Monday
Yes, EveryMonday Black Monday.
Why? Well that is the day I start my week going to work at the daily hell hole and hell hole is the name I had chosen for it. I also wear Black every Monday. I know it maybe a little extreme but its how I feel about working for someone else.
I hate commuting. I hate having to take orders from someone. I hate being treated like I am 5 years old. I hate a lot of things about working for someone else.
A lot of people would say I work for the best Company in the world and that is the least bit exaggerating. But I absolutely hate it and the fanatics make me sick. And I don't want to wrap my mind up into the company just so that 20 years down the line I will hate myself for not following my Dreams. Believe me I did thoroughly think about it if I could do that and I just couldn't. And that goes for any Company!
No one tells me how much I am worth or tells me how much time I have off. Its the worst! So if you are able to follow your dreams and work from home KUDOS to you!
I am actually contemplating if I should take a Promotion or not if I am qualified. I REALLY do not want to step into that direction, but at the same time we must move onward and upward no matter what area of our life right? I just don't want to have to focus on that, then I think my mind will get twisted up into the corporate world and that scares me more than anything. Oh and I have this theory that I think I am correct about. Ok remember how I mentioned I work for one of the best big companies? Well we have GREAT Benefits and my Theory is that the company wraps you up with their Benefits like Good Health Insurance, Paid Time Off AND Vacation and of course 401K and Stock Options, plus the Annual Promotions and Raises. People see this and then they grow to depend on the Company because of the Benefits, they get stuck and trapped and think that is all that they need and want. ITS NOT! GET OUT and PURSUE THOSE DAMN DREAMS!

30 Day Challenge?
Ok so I am still deciding what my Goals are and how much work I want to acquire before I jump in with both feet. So I was thinking of getting My Goals straight and coming up with a 30 Day Challenge for myself. This is normally where the confusion comes in for me. :( I want to be Dedicated and Committed to achieving My Goals. But again this is where it comes in and why I believe I had put up this Blog, which is for Accountability for myself. I want this soooooooooo bad, you have no idea. :( I have wanted this for a few years now.
So what I am going to do is put up a 30 Day Challenge starting Monday, October 8th 2007 with my Goals.

Building Multiple Businesses?
This question comes up a lot with interacting with other business owners on various forums. Some say its a good idea, others don't think its a good idea.
I find it hard to Focus so I don't think its a good idea for myself to focus on more than one business. I did one time try to do but I just don't think its possible unless you are already successful in your current business. I am Focusing on my Travel Biz, my Travel Booking site and I really want to do my Jerky Business. . That is still a lot to focus and only two are related.
So just be sure to do your Research and decide whether or not you can handle more than one Project.

My Coffee and My Laptop
My two favorite things to have in the morning. Every morning I make my pot of coffee and check emails and various sites I visit daily and just sit and relax. Unfortunately I have to then get ready to go to my 'JOB' but those few precious moments I get in the morning, really makes me feel like I am working from home and someday I will. :)

Its almost 3 am, I just watched another well, rags to riches story about the gangsta rapper 50 cent and I was first reading about his biography in the famousWikipedia. Then I moved onto Forbes Magazine because it came up on my search on Blingo and BAM! It helped me solve one of my issues with writing! LOL!!!

Analysis Paralysis
I think I have it. That is why I cannot come up with a Marketing Plan. There is no true definition for 'Analysis Paralysis' but basically it means in wiki terms "Analysis paralysis is an informal phrase applied when the opportunity cost of decision analysis exceeds the benefits. Analysis paralysis applies to any situation where analysis may be applied to help make a decision and may be a dysfunctional element of organizational behavior. Often phrased as paralysis by analysis, in contrast to extinct by instinct."
Ok, I am going to decide on 2-3 Marketing techniques on each of the Businesses I want to work on and get started on it on Sunday. Jerky Direct is having a Fast Start Promotion until December 31st 2007. I want to do it really bad. We are now in the beginning of October. I have 3 months to do something BIG with it.

My Blog
I am not quite sure why I am Blogging here and if I will update it, I guess I just need a place where I can discuss my business ideas and thoughts. I LOVE talking about Business and a lot of people around me hardly understand the concept of 'Business' and why it will ever be the greatest thing you will ever do and the freedom you will have when you pursue it and I am not talking about being self-employed but being a real business person or Entrepreneur. I can discuss it with my partner, because we are doing it together but I like to talk about it enough to make your brain EXPLODE LOL. I just love to ramble on and on and on...and if you ever get sick of it, remember to just keep surfing LOL but I will see be here rambling. LOL.
My One Year Goal for Financial Independence
I have one MAJOR Goal in mind this year and that is to FINALLY achieve my financial independence. I have a lot of work to do, like I had mentioned in a previous post. I am using all my skills I had learned from previous businesses/books/sponsors plus new information I find on the internet to come up with the perfect marketing plan. Risky Business
How many of you are Risk Takers? (Business wise)
I, consider myself a risk taker. I have taken a lot of Business risks. I love working hard core business, like high risk investments. Any Business people don't want to touch I want to be involved. Why? Because I am not going to miss out on something BIG and screaming SCAM never chases me away. A lot of people say 12DailyPro was a Scam. I saw it as something different. A lot of people say MLM is a Scam. ITS NOT. I am not going to declare whether or not 12DailyPro was a scam. Because I still have not properly formed my opinion on it and I WAS involved in it.
But aside from 12DailyPro, MLMs, HYIPs etc...I would love to get involved in the Stock Market. That Business really intrigues me and I have considered many times to become a Stock Broker.
I also want to get involved in high end direct sales like Liberty League or the 1st Step System. But I figure I can save that for when I get REALLY Good. And its all still a learning process for me after all these years.......
I would love to be a Heavy Hitter. I think I have the balls for it (excuse my french LOL). I would train my people to market and make money. I love helping people too. I am just still learning it all too.
I just know I want to have my Freedom, Time and Money and Recognition is really Important to Me. I want to feel Important, I want people to look up to me like to those I look up to. Its a big thing for me, I think its a big thing for a lot of people. We all need to feel Good and Important.

Well I had joined a specific Marketing Group to learn about Internet Marketing/Affiliate Marketing. Which is in a way related to my Network Marketing Business YTB so I can generate Leads and Sales for my Travel Booking site . I am so far off to a good start. I cannot wait to post when I start generating sales. I LOVE the Sales Business! :)
Also, my partner is working with me and its nice to have someone you love work with you on something you love. Its a nice change.
Part of it requires me to write articles and I just have not been inspired to write articles which is my dilemma. I have wrote a couple in my day but I am still working on getting inspired to write more as it is good marketing technique and a lot of people use it.
I find it funny that I can blog here but not where I should be working LOL, I guess I need some other kind of outlet for release and accountability for myself. Back then and maybe still now a lot of people don't take me seriously Business wise, it bothered me at first but it really doesn't matter.
I also have my Jerky Business which I would like to get off the ground. I think because of the smaller fee to join would be easier for those who are afraid of a big risk. Plus I just love the Business..

My Story in Pursuit of Financial Independence
When I was around 17 years old, I had been going to school and working and then I turned 18 and joined my first Multi-Level Marketing/Network Marketing Business. I went and saw a Hotel presentation and was just in awe, so I bought into the Business but then had came into some personal problems of my own and didn't do anything with it. I also later that year had joined AVON and Don Lapre's Infomercial Money Making kit and owned my own 900 number to publish and get Paid. I did not get paid from AVON but I did earn my first check from placing an Ad in the paper for my 900! That was awesome at the age of 18. :)
I, then got married and try to focus on my Work at Home/Financial Independent pursuits. My now (ex) husband was not in support of what I was doing but I did it anyway. I had tried product assembly and I had purchased Foreclosure lists and Car Repossession lists...then I moved!
I had moved to Mexico and we had so much money leftover from the move that we had opened up a Tienda (Store like 7-11 or Maverick). It was good, because we made money but honestly I HATED IT! Because I had to tend to the store all day. So, I enjoyed the food! LOL.
Then I came back and was still itching to make it on my own and not work and so I joined a SLEW of Businesses....literally! I don't know what came over me. But mainly I had joined Arbonne in the beginning and realized I could not do anything with that kind of business and then I made of friend at my new job where I temped after I came out of Job Corps, and she did AmeriPlan and her Upline was very Successful! But then I did not do anything with it for many months because busy with life and getting a permanent job and all and so I finally quit the Business. I was sad but I had put it behind me. I also joined Jerky Direct, Cogigen, and many others that were free and cheap to join. I was very dissatisfied but I did make money in GPT those 2-3 years I was joining all those opportunities. I was doing PTRs, Get Free Stuff and the big bad 12DailyPro plus HYIPs so I did make some money those years. I also sold AVON again for about a year and a half. I did good at it and my Jerky Business also starting off anyway. I also joined PAS which crashed right along with 12DailyPro and I was doing my best at learning Marketing and barely starting to show results before that happened.
So then finally after months debating I decided to go with YTB, because it was an honest and ethical company and I will be Posting about my Pursuit and Results and random things. Sorry for making this Post so long. I tried to fit as little in as possible LOL.

First Post Old Blog
This is my story. I am a Young Mom. I work for a very strict, uptight, soul-crushing Call Center. I hate my Job, I think this is the worst Job I have ever had. On top of the fact that I hate my Job, I hate working for someone else. It drives me BONKERS! I have tried every Business under the sun and now I finally found The One. I will Blog about my Experiences working at the Hell Hole I work at and My Experiences building my Home Business. :) Stay tuned because this is about to get Interesting. I will give you more background details of my Job and My Business in later Posts.
